What we collect

Jadhir requires no account and collects no personally identifying data. When you search, we log the query, the resulting root, and your country (derived from the network address) for aggregate statistics and dictionary improvement. We do not store full IP addresses.

Local storage

Your preferences (theme, language, font size) and word history are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers. You can clear them at any time.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads via Google AdSense to keep Jadhir free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings; see Google's advertising policies for details.

Report-a-problem

If you use the report-a-problem feature, we store your message, the word context, and — only if you choose to provide it — your email address, solely to handle the report.
